treatment holes in utility poles, in now available

This patented plug incorportates a flexible tapered thread. Plugs can be quickly removed and re-used during inspections or subsequent injections of fumigant.

Removal tools are available.
  • Cost effective over the life of an average pole. Millions of REPLUGS in use in the United States and Canada.
  • Fewer holes drilled in poles.
  • Facilitate subsequent inspections for shell thicknes and hole depth.
  • Can be either hammered or screwed into place. Easier to install than non tapered plugs, particulaly in below ground locations.
  • Unauthorized removal is discouraged because of the requirement to use a removal tool.
  • Standard colour is black. Other colours are available if colour coding is desired.
